a.m., the Policy and Planning Division
of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University
held the first meeting of the Budget
Management Oversight and Monitoring
Committee for the 2027 fiscal year. The
meeting took place in the Strategy
Conference Room, 4th floor, Building 32,
and was chaired by the Vice President
for Planning and Quality Assurance,
Associate Professor Dr. Wittaya Mekkham,
with committee members and relevant
personnel in attendance.
Key agenda
items included the monitoring and review
of the university’s budget
management, specifically: a report on th
disbursement of government-allocated
funds and non-budgetary funds (revenue)
for the 2026 fiscal year (as of the end
of the fourth quarter); a progress
report on capital expenditure
(investment budget) for the 2027 fiscal
year; and an update on
revenue-generating projects and
contractual obligations. These
discussions aimed to ensure that budget
management remains efficient and aligned
with the university’s strategic
goals.
Furthermore, the committee
deliberated on the preparation of
capital expenditure budget requests
(government-allocated funds) for the
2028 fiscal year. The process emphasized
the screening and prioritization of
capital investment items to ensure they
are consistent with the
university’s vision and overall
development direction. The meeting also
included discussions on managing surplus
funds—remaining after accounting
for business plans and existing
financial obligations—to ensure
that budget management remains prudent,
transparent, and yields maximum benefit
to the university.
This meeting
